Swingamajig is the UK’s first one day urban festival dedicated to Electro Swing, Gypsy Folk and vintage mayhem! Swingamajig takes the sounds and styles from the 1920′s and brings them up to date with a modern twist bringing together several thousand of the best dressed ladies and gents to party like it is 1929

Swingamajig has grown out of the success of Hot Club de Swing, a Birmingham club night that is all about swing with a big bass sound, and is curated by the Electric Swing Circus – The UKs Hottest Electro Swing band. Four diverse stages showcasing some of the most inventive and entertaining acts on the scene Live bands, DJs, swing dancers, vintage cinema, acrobats, artists and more. A full day and night of wild of vintage debauchery that will be the talk of the town for months to come!

C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.

From the darkness came…the Brotherhood of Filth. 

The Brotherhood of Filth, are turntablism’s answer to dubstep, and one of the freshest new acts to hit the scene.
“Scratching and dubstep…?!”

Consisting of three times world DMC Champion DJ Switch, Malicious DJ &amp; The Doctor, the Brotherhood come armed with 4 turntables, 2 mixers, live FX, as well as bass-crushing rhythms and unrivalled technical skills. They push the boundaries of live mixing unlike any other artist, delivering scratched-up, soul-bleaching, mayhem-energised, bass-driven filth. No tune is left alone, no breathing space will be conceded.

The Brotherhood have current releases on Chronos Records (Green Fingers with Dezi Roots), and Beta Birmingham (Railgun), with more tracks and colabs on the way, watch this space. 

DJ Switch, The Doctor, &amp; Malicious D have years of experience of smashing dance floors: from England to China, Wales to Thailand, and France to Uganda; and have performed alongside many artists including QBert, Pendulum, Public Enemy, Andy C, Foreign Beggars, Excision, Scratch Perverts, Borgore, Freq Nasty, Doctor P, Nero, Paul Oakenfold, Goldie...

The Brotherhood are involved in a number of other projects pushing the boundaries of live music, including the Alternative Dubstep Orchestra (link at the bottom of page), and DJ Switch performing live at the BBC Proms.
