CacheFlowe remixes Scaffolding for the 3rd time in 6 years, as the Plastic Sound Supply co-founders continue to realize their vision of a genre-skirting experimental home for mostly Colorado-based artists. Taking Scaffolding's cover of the classic "My Funny Valentine", CacheFlowe slows and whittles it down to the barest elements, creating a bass-heavy, lurching version that emphasizes the thick vocals and builds on numerous, sparse fragments of the original track. Adding to these remixed elements, CacheFlowe borrows even more sounds from other artists' renditions of the classic tune, splicing in warped sounds from Ella Fitzgerald among others. This remix demands attention and patience, but the rewards are delivered in a thick, sexy, nighttime package.

Scaffolding returns to Plastic Sound Supply with a healthy dose of melodic downtempo and a heartfelt cover of the classic jazz standard 'My Funny Valentine'. With his 9th appearance on the label he co-founded, Scaffolding resurrects his classic form after some years of flirting with avant-garde techno. Complex melodies merge with experimental textures and minimal beats, resulting in ever-engaging and ornamental creations. Thoughtful remixes by David Last and CacheFlowe take this romantic EP to new and deep territories - just in time for Valentine's Day.

Scaffolding - My Funny Valentine (CacheFlowe remix)

This is the full-length recording of the SYNC. live performance at Bassiani in Tbilisi on September 16 2022.

In January 2018 Peter Van Hoesen and Atom™ performed a one-off hybrid live show at Unit Tokyo for Mindgames. Performing on stage together for the first time, they jammed for eight hours straight. Needless to say that the deep connection between both artists became immediately apparent. The idea was born to further develop this live collaboration with a number of select shows at favorite venues. In 2019 SYNC. played several 4 to 6 hours sets at The Pickle Factory (London), Concrete (Paris), Berghain (Berlin) and Technoon (Brussels). In 2022 both musicians returned with an updated set presented at Basilar (Portugal), Nitza (Barcelona) and Bassiani (Tbilisi).

Collaboration and improvisation form the basis for this showcase of contemporary techno. SYNC. is a hybrid sonic rollercoaster in the truest sense of the word. Intricate live programming and improvisation are combined with timed DJ interventions.

Electro Boogie (episode 28: Anthony Rother special)

SEEPS hails from the Bronx, NY and has always been obsessed with dancing, dance music and its culture. She is a true Nuyorican; which heavily influenced her taste in music and her penchant for becoming the veracious record collector she is. She would videotape every dance show and all the music videos, so that she could emulate each and every move contained within. “It would be extremely hard to be a DJ and not incorporate dance into everything I do because it’s everything”.


“I am obsessed with the New York Underground House Sound and movement of thelate eighties and early nineties; my first loves were Masters At Work, Pal Joey, Two Without Hats and Deee-Lite. You can’t be from NYC and not love Kenny and Louie,right? I have an insanely large number of members in my family. They have had a big influence on me and always wanted me to listen to “that record” they loved so much. I carried that inspiration of their crazy basement parties with me and mixed it into everything I am; music, dance, fashion, and eventually DJing and production”.

During the pandemic SEEPS capitalized on the opportunity to showcase her skills
through streaming regularly on multiple platforms. Her endless energy, deep crates and ability to blend vinyl and digital mediums earned her praise and recognition from her heroes; Jellybean Benitez, Louie Vega and DJ Sneak.

SEEPS has lived in the Los Angeles area for the last several years and plays out
regularly. Find her in Los Angeles playing with heavy locals DJ Sneak, Spiñorita and Aaron Paar, or escaping back home to NYC or her favorite city Madrid. 

She recently made her debut at Dante’s Hi-Fi Miami and continues to love traveling most. You can expect an EP release from SEEPS by the end of this year. In the meantime, catch her weekly radio show I’llGoRhythm, Wednesdays at 8PM PST on Mix93FM Los Angeles and worldwide on Mix93FM.com.
