CacheFlowe remixes Scaffolding for the 3rd time in 6 years, as the Plastic Sound Supply co-founders continue to realize their vision of a genre-skirting experimental home for mostly Colorado-based artists. Taking Scaffolding's cover of the classic "My Funny Valentine", CacheFlowe slows and whittles it down to the barest elements, creating a bass-heavy, lurching version that emphasizes the thick vocals and builds on numerous, sparse fragments of the original track. Adding to these remixed elements, CacheFlowe borrows even more sounds from other artists' renditions of the classic tune, splicing in warped sounds from Ella Fitzgerald among others. This remix demands attention and patience, but the rewards are delivered in a thick, sexy, nighttime package.

Scaffolding returns to Plastic Sound Supply with a healthy dose of melodic downtempo and a heartfelt cover of the classic jazz standard 'My Funny Valentine'. With his 9th appearance on the label he co-founded, Scaffolding resurrects his classic form after some years of flirting with avant-garde techno. Complex melodies merge with experimental textures and minimal beats, resulting in ever-engaging and ornamental creations. Thoughtful remixes by David Last and CacheFlowe take this romantic EP to new and deep territories - just in time for Valentine's Day.

Featuring several world exclusive premieres during his EDC Las Vegas set last weekend, Hardwell unveiled not just the first single (Arcadia) from his forthcoming, as yet untitled, studio album, but also his mesmerizing remix of Coldplay’s beautiful collaboration with Avicii ‘A Sky Full of Stars’.
 
Adding subtle touches, the Dutch megastar producer has succeeded in retaining the euphoria of the original, whilst giving the record a fresh progressive deepness, that sees it journey down a new, more club driven tone. Frontman Chris Martin’s voice is as dreamlike as ever, swelling alongside the song’s catchy pop-like melody, but the sprinkling of Hardwell’s signature sound gives the record another gear, transforming it into an anthemic masterpiece perfectly suited to the mainstage.
 
Personally invited by the label (FFRR/Parlophone) to remix the second single from their new album ‘Ghost Stories’, Hardwell said “I’ve long been a fan of the band so when I discovered they wanted me to remix one of the tracks from their new album, it was really a ‘wow’ moment for me. It’s such an honor and I’m really proud of the outcome of the track. When I dropped it at EDC Las Vegas, the crowd’s reaction was electrifying; it still gives me Goosebumps thinking about it!”

LRT5 is an extract of the 5th edition of Livingroom Techno, our annual winterish concept for cozy house and techno, featuring the four exclusive titles of the compilation. All four tracks have an own and very unique approach, but they all ft together in a certain way.

We start with Sam K’s "Elido“, a tune with a proper buzz on it since it was played by Mano Le Tough in his frst Boiler Room last summer. A super deep and intoxicating affair.

Next up is the warm and alluring "Clausius“ by Musumeci from Sicily. His releases on his own label Engrave Ltd. can be found in almost every set by Dixon and Âme, making him to a real special tip lately.

Timelapse, the Berlin-based Italian duo, has delivered a genuine Connaisseur track with "Next Day“, perfectly arranged and full of emotions.

The last exclusive title is by the two Italian brothers from Mathame. "Hologram Child“ is full of abstract beauty. A special track which takes you on a journey.
