Mila Steiner is a Berlin based producer and DJ who’s extremely passionate about electronics in all its forms, one of those being electronic music which she has taken a great interest in since she was a child, often listening to early rave music radio shows and mixtapes that focused mainly on techno, new beat, EBM and acidcore.

Mila soon become heavily influenced by the techniques of ‘musique concrete’, a form of music composition that utilizes recorded sounds as raw material where they’re often modified through the application of audio effects and tape manipulation techniques. Eventually Mila began to include more and more hardware in her experiments including synthesizers, drum machines, samplers and other electronic machinery, any element to create raw and distorted sounds, addictive bass lines and banging broken drums.

She’d also become a very accomplished DJ by now, mixing tracks with the same characteristics infused within her own productions. Artists such as JoeFarr, Ayarcana, Scalameriya and UVB are amongst her favourites.

All this eventually led to Mila being invited to play at many noted events around Europe and America, after which she decided to create her own independent label ‘9ravesnuff’. This project, which focuses on techno and industrial sounds with that feeling that characterized her early work, has seen her receive major support from many respected artists including Perc, Randomer and Insolate amongst others.

Since 1999 the Cannibal Cooking Club duo does not only serve its rough and varied cuisine in German localities, but also cooks for the international palate with selected ingredients and hot spices. The two chefs satisfy even the most demanding guest with their technoid special recipes.
But not only as a live act the cooking duo knows to convince! Releasing on their own artist label, but also on many other labels, always looking for new tastes, recipes and ingredients. Enjoy your meal!

Dies ist der Anfang, eine Beschreibung für etwas wofür ich niemals die richtigen Worte finden werden, denn noch ist es ein Versuch wert.

doch was passiert wenn wir es nicht versuchen?
Es begleitet uns ein leben lang & stört wie ein Dorn im Auge, wie ein Dolch im Herz & wie steine auf dem Weg.
Es wird Zeit das ich aus diesen Steinen meinen Palast baue.

Musik begleitet mich seit Kleinauf & ich glaube das damals die ständige Müdigkeit ein Teil meiner Persönlichkeit wurde.
Doch die Musik war als einziges immer da, wenn mir der Boden unter den Füßen entrissen wurde.
Der klang meiner Gitarre nahm mir vor etwa 12 Jahren diese Müdigkeit & gab mir meine Lebensfreude zurück & hat mich wissen lassen woran es sich lohnt festzuhalten und woran eben nicht.

Ich bin nichts besonderes, nur eine Person die ihre Gefühle hinter der Poesie & zwischen den Zeilen versteckt. 

Eine Person unter Millionen anderen Menschen, die auch aus leidenschaft zur Musik, etwas ohne leiden schaft.
