For my 25th birthday on the 9th of April, I wanted to write a song that sounded like you waking up on your 25th birthday with your prefrontal cortex popping into place. So I did.
I hoped to capture the idea of you, now with your fully developed, mature brain, can instantly see life from a new, grateful-for-every-moment perspective. (if only it happened that way)
This song was a fun therapeutic reflection on my life from past, present, to future. I’m grateful for every day. If you’re reading this thank you for being a part of my life this far whether your involvement has been big or small. Cheers to the quarter-life-crisis! 💚

We made this song all in one day at a campground in Yelm, WA with what equipment we had available to us. Passing the files back and forth, we could never spell “serotonin” correctly so we left the title as is 💀😂
