For my 25th birthday on the 9th of April, I wanted to write a song that sounded like you waking up on your 25th birthday with your prefrontal cortex popping into place. So I did.
I hoped to capture the idea of you, now with your fully developed, mature brain, can instantly see life from a new, grateful-for-every-moment perspective. (if only it happened that way)
This song was a fun therapeutic reflection on my life from past, present, to future. I’m grateful for every day. If you’re reading this thank you for being a part of my life this far whether your involvement has been big or small. Cheers to the quarter-life-crisis! 💚
