For our next Podcast we have invited Andres Bustamante aka Andre Butano. Andre was born in Bello Horizonte, Brazil but has a Chilean nationality. He lives and works in Santiago. He music always contains a groovy playful bass line, that lives up the expectation to the urge to party and dance.
He is starting a new record label together with our bla bla main man Daniel Sanchez, CACHAI MUSIC. Butano has done releases on bla bla music and circus recordings.

This week, our special guest on the Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast is Yousef.

A DJ, club promoter and producer who has been at the forefront of modern dance music since the late 1990s, Yousef has had a long and successful history, and continues to be one of the busiest DJs around.  Getting his first break back in 1998, winning the Bedroom Bedlam monthly mix competition in the British Muzik Magazine, the Liverpudlian Dj began a dizzying ascent through residencies at Cream in Ibiza, a presenting slot on BBC Radio 1, the start of his own night Circus, global DJ tours and festival appearances, and a production career that’s taken in labels such as Desolat, Cecille, Intec, Renaissance, FFRR, Cocoon, Defected and his own Circus Recordings label.

So a it’s a real treat to have Yousef on the Source to Cycle this week.

Seb Zito is at the epicenter of the global underground. He has lived and experienced all the key musical movements of the last 30 years, from sweaty raves to pirate radio, US garage and UK house, to classy European minimal and sleek modern techno. With such a widened palette for sounds and styles, he crafts his sets with these experiences in mind to create a unique offering that sets him apart in the world of dance music. “My aim is to make people dance with tracks that go off on the floor,” he says, “but with a sprinkle of those emotional moments that bring out those special feelings.” His dancefloor educating has taken him across the globe, from the darkest basements to biggest festival stages; Space Miami and one of the original FUSE residents, Fabric night curator, WHP Manchester, Studio 338, Elrow and most sound systems around the White Island of Ibiza have all had the pleasure to amplify Seb’s sounds. In the studio, his style is best categorized under irresistible groove, which has taken his music to most of the leading dance music labels across the world. His innate desire to not be constrained by styles or genres, to push outside of his comfort zone and disrupt expectations will forever encapsulate and keep dancers on their toes.

Of Turkish origins but born and raised just outside of Zurich, Alci’s entry into DJing came via Hip Hop and street culture, trying his hand at graffiti and breakdancing before discovering turntables. Igniting his passion for music, his taste has evolved over the years, shifting into the electronic world where he now places his sound between funky House grooves and minimalistic Techno.

At the age of 17 he was already on the Zurich circuit and today is called upon to play all around the world - tINI&Gang, Fuse London, Caprice Festival, Rex Club, Gesthouse, Resolute NY, Un_Mute and more.
