i feel weak and stupid, i let pride sit in front of extremely important things and wall myself off from them. feeling like im special in some way. like my shitty trauma filled past gives me some kind of super power over others. i was just cutting myself off from people i care about because it was easier. and i convinced myself that it was the hard path, i felt like it was the path i had to take because ive never given myself the choice to change. the feeling of being lost confused and indecisive was promoted by my own choice to be ignorant of the shit going on around me and the hands people put out to help. i chose not to reach my hand out in response. i felt that if i was confident i would be able to just change. but i was just being confident in bullshit i chose never to change about myself. i never gave myself the chance to choose who i wanted to be because i let my trauma define me. thats not who i want to be. i wanna change so bad it hurts. but i feel so fucking pathetic and i feel like i deserve it. i spent my whole life blaming people around me for shit i could have changed. what gives me the right to try now? it just makes me feel so worthless.
