Jo Lee (they/them) is a solo artist born and raised in Brooklyn. They play at creating a New York sound, blending R&B and Pop with Hip Hop and Afro-Latin grooves. Nonbinary and queer, Jo is proud to use their voice to entertain and empower their community.

On stage, Jo Lee earned a reputation for making you cry one minute and serving you sass in the next. They love riding the line of NYC's glamour and grit.

Jo Lee wrote, produced, recorded and mixed their new single “Heaven”. Intended to be a happy song, it evolved into a song about resisting the idea that being queer is wrong. “Heaven” is about reimagining paradise and finding it in love, especially queer love.

Jo Lee is an active member of the queer a cappella group TONEWALL. The group is the current northeast champion of the International Aca-Open semifinal. TONEWALL performed at Carnegie Hall, PrideFest at World Pride, Yankee Stadium, Red Bulls Stadium, and Sony Hall.
