John Talaga has been recording and releasing under the name of Fashion Flesh for years. Past recordings have found their way on labels like Sons Of Traders, Black Lodge, Dead Channel, Unknown Precept, Est 83(Fit Sound) and Jacktone to just name a few. 
The direction is wherever the mind takes you. This particular mix was recorded straight to cassette with selections plucked from dusty vinyl.

Most of these jams and edits haven't seen the light of day, and aren't available seperately (except for the 2nd track which was on a Secret Gang digital release) unless someone expresses an interest in taking them for realease as part of a specific package. If that happens, then I'll likely pull the free download unless it's reached the 2200 Bandcamp limit.

Tune into the heart of Mexico City, with the second episode of @iriyrecords show, featuring one of the most established and oldest post-club labels, @naafi

The label aims to overcome the self-doubt present in the local Mexican electronic music scene and revive the local musical aesthetic. Consequently, N.A.A.F.I. releases music inspired by local electronic music trends like dembow and reggaeton while recontextualizing Western styles such as techno and house. These sounds are fused to create a blend of deconstructed and often ironic music. This blend is termed “tribal,” contrasting with the music of malinchismo (the local name for structured Western genres). It combines percussive, conceptual, and polyrhythmic sounds to create a unique musical narrative.
