We are back this time with a cozy home-session! Our guests will be Low Velocity Soundsystem aka Gregor, who is part of the infamous Connwax Crew from Leipzig and John Horton, who runs Half True Records. They will team up to serve us some quality chill-out and listening music. Showing us their personal favorites, music that has always been a part of their lives and tunes that bring back the good old Trakt 3 club memories. Expect a beautiful mixture of hits you might know, as well as music you may have never heard before, all in one set. These two friends are a perfect example for the beauty which comes out when Halle and Leipzig locals team up - purest Metropolregion Mitteldeutschland finesse. We are stoked to announce our forthcoming episode with Rat Life Records founder Credit 00! The Leipzig based old-school pioneer and head of the Uncanny Valley Sub-Label will spin some records on our next showcase. With numerous releases on different Labels such as: Bordello A Parigi, Chiwax, Mechatronica & Pinkman he’s always busy keeping the style alive. Genre boundaries are not familiar to the synthesizer enthusiast Alexander Dorn, who is highly inspired by 90’s Hip-Hop culture which led him through various musical phases, enjoying Classic Electro, Body Music, Chicago House, Detroit Techno or New Wave.

For this month's Intergalactic Rhythms, we will broadcast live from the Sleeve++ record store in Leipzig, where Clear Memory will showcase their signature all-things-electro sound in a special 3 hour takeover with crew members Milium and Rekorder.
The label is well known far beyond the borders of Germany and not only since their latest release from January 2021 - which hits diggers hard with “Speedy Beats, High Energy - Electro deeply saturated with rap samples and breaks”, as they describe the sound of CLEAR005.
We are very happy to have these guys with us for the next episode!
Expect loads of unreleased music.

Once again taking advantage of Halle Saales thriving scene. Pofessional record digger: Der Specht, is the guest for our next episode. After witnessing him on several occasions, playing diverse sets from Dubstep to Disco and House, there was no way around inviting him to our residency. With his own program on Radio Corax, called “Gut aufgelegt” airing every first saturday of the month radio shows are his natural habitat.

DJ Tille emerges from the pool of young and unknown talents in Leipzig. Besides playing the keys in the Groove-Jazz band „exit denied“ he impressed us with one of his first club appearances, showcasing his love for funk and disco music played straight from vinyl. Watch out for this youngster taking over Leipzig booths in the future.

Hungry Music has the kind of waterproof musical aesthetic that not many labels with under twenty releases under their belt have. The output is bold and atmospheric at same time. Travels through misty soundscapes are just one of their trademarks. The french label established its sound through a close circle of friends - namely, Worakls, N’to & Joachim Pastor.

It’s now time to let some of the most powerful recent releases get re-interpreted through six exclusive remixes.

The Hungry gang took on each others work and also invited luminaries and friends of the label such as Oliver Koletzki, Einmusik and Boris Brejcha to provide a mix for the first in a series of upcoming remix EPs.

DJ 4Never, originally from Düsseldorf, is rather organizing the Radio than standing behind the decks. But for the season opening he put together some tunes. After moving to Leipzig he quickly fell for the striving music scene and was looking for a way to take part in it. Since Leipzig hadn't any radio focusing on underground music the format of Callshop Radio seemed to be a perfect fit. 4Never is organizing and curating Callshop Radio Leipzig.

Sevensol is one true original of Leipzigs music scene. Together with Map.Ache and Bender he is owning KANN Label since 11 years already. This year they published their 41st release! Some years ago they even had their own record store in the south of Leipzig. But having to invest so much into new records every week wasn’t the real deal, so they focused on rather playing and releasing records. Sevensol in combination with Map.Ache is forming the DJ Team Manamana as which they are part of the residents of Nachtdigital festival, which took place for 22 consecutive years in Saxonias Olganitz.

Starting our intergalactic journey this year with Leipzigs finest Dj Detox aka Gnista, not only resident at Mjut but also night manager and part of the orga  team behind the club. Born in the Osterzgebirge, Dresden raised and now based in Leipzig he is providing us with various releases on labels such as R.A.N.D, Uncanny Valley, F.T.P, Mechatronica & Brokn Toys, to name a few. He first made contact with making music by playing guitar in several small band projects, from there he started to collect dubstep vinyls and later figured out how to produce his own beats with Ableton. Since 2011 he has been inspired and teached a lot by Steve Kasper aka Steve.e and the Sub Sickness Crew from Dresden. Now his unique style ranges from electro breakbeats over to uk garage and jungle sounds all the way to classic house. We are very happy to kick off the year with this machine warrior on january 7th, 6pm CET!

For our next episode we invited Ambient-Dadaists Technik AG. With their hybrid live-set between turntablism and synthesizing these two sound designers creat dynamic soundscapes with floating textures and sharp contrasts. Besides drones and beats you will also recognise obscure voice samples and field recordings, impulsively arranged, somewhere between techno and musique concrète.
This one is going to be special in many ways: we are broadcasting live from the Eckladen location on Karl-Heine-Straße with a special light and video installment by trq_billy, on february 4th, 6pm CET.
