Our guests will be Low Velocity Soundsystem aka Gregor, who is part of the infamous Connwax Crew from Leipzig and John Horton, who runs Half True Records. They will team up to serve us some quality chill-out and listening music. We are stoked to announce our forthcoming episode with Rat Life Records founder Credit 00! The Leipzig based old-school pioneer and head of the Uncanny Valley Sub-Label will spin some records on our next showcase. With numerous releases on different Labels such as: Bordello A Parigi, Chiwax, Mechatronica & Pinkman he’s always busy keeping the style alive. Genre boundaries are not familiar to the synthesizer enthusiast Alexander Dorn, who is highly inspired by 90’s Hip-Hop culture which led him through various musical phases, enjoying Classic Electro, Body Music, Chicago House, Detroit Techno or New Wave.

Intergalactic Rhythms proudly presents their second live edition on Callshop Radio. 
This time we are going on air with KAWA KAWA. The live music project by producer Geronimo and singer Maria, was created on a spontaneous jam session in May 2019. 
Their sound draws from various musical sources, including Breakbeat-Electro, Trap, Ambient and Post-Punk. - The duo themselves call it "Intelligent Pop Music" (IPM). For this special episode we are going live from Tipi at Westwerk Leipzig, therefore we wanted to collect donations & support a local venue in need. It's not the first time that we get support from the Tipi-Crew, they're still pushing the scene by providing knowledge and space to make your projects happen. We highly encourage you to get in contact and support the location! Dear fellows if you already heard about KAWA KAWA, then you know the drill, if not expect a wild and rough live set, which hopefully gives you some good ol’ concert vibes!

After half a year of Intergalactic Rhythms it's time again for your hosts to take control! With 6 shows, airing from 5 different locations and many great evenings spent, we are very happy to be back at the Callshop Radio Studio for this one.
So far we’ve had the opportunity to spend our shows with many great people & their music. Therefore, we are really looking forward to the next few months as we have some pretty exciting stuff coming up!
To kick off the second half of the year, and hopefully the long awaited summer, we are going to play some more funky, disco, feel good stuff as you may know from us.

For this month's Intergalactic Rhythms, we will broadcast live from the Sleeve++ record store in Leipzig, where Clear Memory will showcase their signature all-things-electro sound in a special 3 hour takeover with crew members Milium and Rekorder.
The label is well known far beyond the borders of Germany and not only since their latest release from January 2021 - which hits diggers hard with “Speedy Beats, High Energy - Electro deeply saturated with rap samples and breaks”, as they describe the sound of CLEAR005.
We are very happy to have these guys with us for the next episode!

Next up is vinyl lover, chess king and long time friend LŸBRA. The Berlin based Techno-Viking is going to teach us how to play some good ol’ 2000 tekkno. Prepare for a fast pace and many heavy weights as soon as his records hit the needles. Socialized in the Dessau Hardtekk scene exploring the typical fast and ruff sound, he gained expertise in Berlin while exploring the capital's club culture. In his mixes you will recognise well selected 90s and 00s Techno, sometimes even Schranz, spinning besides more modern records while combining only the best of both worlds. You must prepare for a true crate digger showing what he loves most: T E C H N O  - with a preference for the harder sound.

Finally, on our twelfth episode, it's time again for a Live-Act! Producing since the 90’s, the 37 years old teacher came up with Hardenberg in 2017, while experimenting with different synthesizers, such as the Arturia Minibrute: “which only wanted to be used for electro” the Leipzig local said to us. So he became part of the Leeds based electro label Cyber Domain, delivering two great tapes so far. Last year releasing “VA001”, a Various Artist with great musicians such as Lloyd Stellar, Francois Dillinger and Isolated Material followed by Dominik Wiertz’ “Grounded EP”. Since the day we stumbled upon his productions and YouTube videos we’ve been highly interested in what he is up to, that’s why we are super stoked to have him play a Live-Set for our upcoming episode. Your hosts are going to kick off the show with a 1 hour B2B session, Hardenberg takes over at 9pm and delivers some machine controlled funk.

Since 2013 she’s a resident at Spartacus Club in Potsdam, not only delivering great dj sets but also actively supporting the scene with FLINTA* DJ-Workshops. The producers & djs operating out of Leipzig break through genre borders of electronic music and showcase their own sound as well as selected guest features from like-minded artists & friends.

Intergalactic Rhythms w/ DJ Unisex & Friedrich Ernst 01.12.20

Starting our intergalactic journey this year with Leipzigs finest Dj Detox aka Gnista, not only resident at Mjut but also night manager and part of the orga  team behind the club. Born in the Osterzgebirge, Dresden raised and now based in Leipzig he is providing us with various releases on labels such as R.A.N.D, Uncanny Valley, F.T.P, Mechatronica & Brokn Toys, to name a few. He first made contact with making music by playing guitar in several small band projects, from there he started to collect dubstep vinyls and later figured out how to produce his own beats with Ableton. Since 2011 he has been inspired and teached a lot by Steve Kasper aka Steve.e and the Sub Sickness Crew from Dresden. Now his unique style ranges from electro breakbeats over to uk garage and jungle sounds all the way to classic house. We are very happy to kick off the year with this machine warrior on january 7th, 6pm CET!

For our next episode we invited Ambient-Dadaists Technik AG. With their hybrid live-set between turntablism and synthesizing these two sound designers creat dynamic soundscapes with floating textures and sharp contrasts. Besides drones and beats you will also recognise obscure voice samples and field recordings, impulsively arranged, somewhere between techno and musique concrète.
This one is going to be special in many ways: we are broadcasting live from the Eckladen location on Karl-Heine-Straße with a special light and video installment by trq_billy, on february 4th, 6pm CET.
