Both psychedelic and groovy, Calumet's music draws its inspiration from a variety of influences. 
Although cradled at a young age by the sounds of his father's vintage synthesizers, and influenced by Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis, Calumet decided to turn to drums and percussion. He started out playing in several rock bands, which gave him plenty of performance experience, before coming back to his first love. 
A great enthusiast of powerful and somber techno, he nonetheless found himself more at ease with melodious and airy electronic styles. 
The discovery of Dusty Kid, Rodriguez Jr., and Agoria was crucial in the producer's career. 
Delivering a complete and powerful deep house sound, unconventional Calumet is a rising star, making his way slowly but surely.

A la fois planante et groovy, la musique de Calumet puise ses influences dans la diversité. Bercé très jeune par les synthés vintage de son père, biberonné à Jean-Michel Jarre et Vangelis, il décide tout de même de se tourner vers la batterie et les percussions. Il officiera d’abord dans plusieurs groupes de rock qui lui apporteront une solide expérience de la scène avant de revenir à ses premières amours. 
Grand amateur de techno puissante et sombre, c’est dans des styles de musiques électroniques plus mélodieux et aériens que se retrouve cependant Calumet. Ainsi la découverte de Dusty Kid, Rodriguez Jr et autres Agoria fut déterminante dans le parcours du producteur. 
Délivrant une deep house complète et puissante, à la lisière des sentiers battus, Calumet fait son chemin à la manière des Sioux : doucement mais sûrement.
