Being originally a very short & simple song I wrote about a traumatic event (translated lyrics below), I have been working separately on verses and refrain, then trying new ways to combine and glue them.

This work is a strong epic orchestral track that represents a leap in my production quality. Rising from a soft, melodic intro, it moves through a series of dramatic, action-packed sections before coming to an interesting, ethereal outro to finish it off.

Impact

Thought some SC friends might like to hear some old tracks from late 90s band Morry and I were members of - Ten Months Later. Morry played lead guitar and I played rhythm guitar and sang back up vocs. The main singer is our friend Randy Arnold who wrote this song - he's super talented. Other bandmates: Yandell Wood (Drums) and Matt Garlove (Bass), along with Peter Searcy (Cello), Steve Cooley (Mandolin/Banjo)... I'm having trouble remembering a couple others who sat in and helped with recording some other individual instruments on these songs. Recorded mainly in Matt's basement. Sadie Hawkins Dance was the name of the album.

I describe my Vegan Abortion​ tracks as Gothic Funk​  Fusion because that's what it is, Funky Gothic Rock with a Post Industrial Punk feel to them!

This is the opening track off of That Old Time Americana, Volume 2 out now on Spotify and other platforms.  I try to blend some folk and electronic music together in this one. This song is about having hope through the most dire of situations and the internal battle between our cynical mindset and our optimistic one. The epilogue was built by improvisation on the original guitar track.
