His raspy voice and smooth flow give the listeners something that has been missing in hip hop today......Honesty......via his truthful bars that make you think, witty word play that provide much replay value as most listeners will continually pick up the subtle messages/metaphors they may have missed on the first listen, while showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Rekless is an artist that doesn't claim to be anything but who he is. He does not glorify street life or gangsterism, nor claims to be a gangster. He is who he is and he owns that, while not dismissing the real world which surrounds him, others motivations and struggles, and the violence which has been and continues to be prevalent in society. As a true pupil of hip hop, his well rounded approach gives the listener something they can really feel, without being preachy, condescending or blind to what is really going on today.

Using logic and intellect, Rekless provides you with his view of the world, the problems with what is seen, all while continuing to be authentic or "Real" to himself and his belief using witty metaphors, comedy, real talk, Anger, aggression, frustration and past experiences to paint the picture of his world while making it relatable to the listeners.......with no apologies and no cap!
