Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown in the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a label from the land of the Ancient Greeks: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music trip outside traditional paths with driving grooves and polyphonic structures that are seeking dancers to Dionysian highs and places never seen before.

Orama is a form that takes place in consciousness and does not comes from the senses but from phantasy, as an extension of experiential experience. The form of Orama is not limited to only one “sense” (like vision) and many times can includes spiritual qualities like emotions. Orama is the “compass”, the “light” that somebody follows in order to reach his destination. Is the source of inspiration for the right choices or the new rules while, at the same time, gives the ability to control the rules of a policy by setting the morality that must condition them. Orama is driving the legislator and move him into the right direction to set and fill out the rules in a way that they’re not deviate from the morality and the values of it. The lack of Orama to somebody makes him walking or driving anybody else based on a vague logic or emotion even if he/she is based on acceptable rules that cannot exclude the wrong choices. Orama is the driving force in order to succeed on targets and can drift to individual or collective volunteering. Orama is the new compilation of Shango Records. We only release music we absolutely love, and so we are proud to present yet another very talented artist on Truesounds Music - Italy-based Unstable Son, with his new 4-track EP, Dystopia.

The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!
