A family of artists with roots in Michigan, Kansas, and Colorado.  Their debut album, Sagacity of Sound, was the culmination of their time in Wichita and the documentation of their friendship and love for one another.  It is earthy, organic, and full of spiritual depth.  The majority of the album was recorded in the final eight days that the people were together, and it is dedicated to Mary Turner, their mother and dearly beloved, and the people of Wichita.

I do what I do because I am who I am. I am a singer of songs and a writer of words. I find myself awake at the age of 28, married, accompanied by 3 cats and a dog, surviving each day and embracing each high and low. I moved to Savannah Georgia to start a band. After recruiting my pal Zachary A. Pavey we started SHAPES & Their Names. We enjoyed playing in Dixie but decided to move back to Kansas, to save and prepare to tour.
