Biography & History....

Charlie Jay has been in the music industry for twenty years as a DJ/Promoter.
His musical journey began in 1995 when first introduced by his music teacher 
MASTER SHIVERS to one sound lab belt drive turntable and one sony turntable with no pitch control.
It was in a bedroom in Camberwell, South East London where Charlie Jay formally and first known as Bigga or Bigkid learnt the art of mixing and blending Jungle music with vinyl records. 

In 1996 Charlie Jay (Bigkid) got his first break after being invited to attend Supreme 96.1 fm for a radio guest show.
The radio station managers were so impressed that they offered him a regular slot to play on the air weekly. It was here at supreme 96.1 fm that Charlie Jay (Bigkid) began to get into the House & Garage underground scene and was given opportunities to perform at some of London and the U.k's top and most famous venues and nightclubs.

Charlie Jay (Bigkid) for many years created a storm on the underground garage circuit and also teamed up with childhood friend 
M.C Billy Da Kid. 
During their time on Supreme 96.1 Fm they met a very talented young guy that went by the name of M.C Neutrino. 
The trio started doing regular radio shows together and It was in a bedroom in Acre lane, Brixton, South London that the Living Legend Crew was born.
Supreme 96.1 Fm was renowned for underground house and garage music for many years and were one of the leading pioneers of the pirate radio station world. 
Shortly after The Living Legend Crew was formed another group of guys joined Supreme 96.1 Fm.
The group now known as The So Solid Crew consisted of just four original members to start with:
DJ PDS, M.C Mega Man, M.C Romeo, M.C Mac.
They brought a fresh, vibrant new sound to the airwaves with the lyrical content that was cheeky, original and contagious.

The Living Legend Crew had a run of success touring all over the U.K nightclubs and hosting events, but things soon took a turn for the worst when one night an argument broke out within the Supreme Fm studio between members of The So Solid Crew and the Supreme Fm management.  One thing lead to another and and The So Solid Crew decided to venture out on their own with a brand new radio station. 

DELIGHT 103 FM was born.....The Living Legends was approached and asked to help build a new foundation, build a new home and an alliance with The So Solid Crew. 
Charlie Jay (Bigkid) M.C Billy Da Kid & Mc Neutrino worked hard on doing late night live radio shows in a bedroom studio in Clapham Junction until Delight 103 FM was properly up and running with a regular set of DJ's doing weekly shows on rotation.

The Beat Cool Brothers (BCB) born as a duo in the summer of 2011.
Coming back from a low activity period as an artist, Joe decided to teach his best friend Mike the first mixing notions and technique on cdj. After that, they dedicated themselves totally to the utilize of the Traktor digital system. Dj. Josh soon noticed the big musical value of his friend Mike, in addition it was very evident their similarity in style and musical taste. He decided  to give more emphasis and  weight to what was born as a joke. After a while and considering the excellent results , they founded the Beat Cool Brothers. The two djs immediately achieved great success between friends and during their performances. This positive feedback motivated them to continue the undertaken road.

 
In December 2011 Beat Cool Brothers got their first official date with the new-event Glog Fun Party at the 'To: lab, which is the second  experimental room of the disco club Amnesia in Milano.
On that event DJ Josh & DJ Mike immediately showed professionalism and reliability, while respecting the genre in vogue and meeting the customers expectations. This ensured their confirmation for the other two dates in the same place and sanctioned the beginning of future engagements tackled with seriousness and dedication. They performed in an after in the Codice Club near Milano, then in an happy hour in Lainate and in a pool party (for 3 hours!). On that occasion they received appreciations and as well as confidence.

They were engaged again by the disco club Amnesia to play during the central hours of the first Glog Fun Party the 15 of September  2012.  To underline, their exciting performance at The Loft in Milano, on Sunday morning, the 20 of October, which the BCB did a great dj-sets in warm-up on the international DJ Dubfire! As well as DJs, the BCB currently are moving in the world of production.
It has already been produced 3 discs, publishing the ep Effect Example available on Beatport, iTunes and Juno Download, label digital Prisma Record.
November 2012 has also seen the conclusion of a new ep'' Space'' Material which will come with the digital label Cubek Records (Colombia), when the track ‘‘Asteroid (Original Mix)’’ touched the #40 position in the Beatport TOP 100 , minimal genre.

 
Slide masterfully with skills from 2 to 4 music tracks simultaneously for several minutes. 
Alternate to these, sinuous effects that let grow slowly the charge of the tracks, giving in the right time an adrenalinic explosion of bass and speakers .This is the technique of the Cool Beat Brothers.
This kind of music is the development of different musical elements identified in the evolution of the deep-tech sung to the latest techno, which is more experimental with some minimalistic facets.

They are two young boys, given their young age and short experience they do not still intend to be regarded as artists. They are motivated by a sincere passion and feeling, and the thing that more satisfies them is to see people dancing and jumping at every successfully well done music attack -  this is what they claim.
 
One certain thing is that such humility, accompanied with professionalism that distinguishes them, may be helpful to make them open the doors of success in the difficult environment of the clubs and underground music.

This London-based DJ, Producer, Remixer, and Label Head is known for his variation in styles, technical ability, and ability to take you on a musical journey.

DJ IC, touted by DJ Magazine as London's afro house craftsman, is known for his enlightening DJ sets featuring an array of exclusive edits and remixes that keep the party going.

IC strikes the perfect balance in playing soulful, spiritual Afro House accompanied by hard-hitting beats with a cutting edge. Studying music technology back in 1999 was a real eye opener and catalyst for IC's journey, getting to understand music at a deeper level has been the key to his current successes.

Beyond DJing IC is not only a DJ, Producer, Ghost Producer & Remixer, he is also an Author, Music Reviewer, Mentor and Label Head for the newly established label ‘All Shades Of The Drum Recordings’.
