Known by many as "Milky" short for the Milkman because he delivers. 
Milky has over 15 years in the music biz and is responsible for booking over 100's events. His music is a slice of gold for the underground community. Specialties are in Funk, DnB, Dub, Psybient, Bass. Micro-Funk, IDM, Autonomic, New Retro Wave, Down-Tempo, Trip-Hop, Vaporwave, Miami Bass, Electro Funk, Jungle and Dubstep.  When it comes to setting vibes Milky sets creative bombs then inspiration follows.
Milky has Opened for the likes of Blockhead, Skytree, Govinda, D-Bridge, Venetian Snares,  Inspectah Deck from Wu-Tang Clan, Flux Pavilion, Noah D, Poirier and amongst many other talented headlingers. In doing so Milky has performed at some really cool festivals, including Okeechobee Music Festival (2016), Fractal Beach (2016), Grass Roots Music Festival (2012-2013), Moksha Art Fair (2011-2012-2013)

Faces Under the Mirror is a Colorado band forged by Jake C and Jeff Laskey in 1994. Jeff was the initial lyricist and Jake supplied the vocals and programming for the first 3 songs that the band created. Sympathy, Sin of the Flesh, and Curiosity. This started the ball rolling with Jake writing the next two songs, Given Up and Seal of Approval. In between these songs being written was introduced a new member to the band, Westin Shafer, a guitarist and lyricist as well. After seal of Approval Jeff left the band for personal reasons but he is not forgotten. With Jeff and Westin both departed from the band Jake Cook the lead vocalist , writer, and programmer carries on the legacy with a new found member Jeremy A with whom both shared a short lived band known as The Shame. Jeremy was lead guitarist and writer and Jake played bass in this previous band.

Most of the lyrical content of Faces represents the pain and emotion people Face on a day to day basis and some within the realms of an insane mind all bi-products of the lives we live and the imagination of Jake and Westin, Touched with the melodic and sometimes harsh synth melodies and angry to melancholy vox of Jake C. Westin added his own touch with bouncing, harsh and provocative guitar lines which accent the music well. Jake, now the ass joined forces with Patrick Hogan, Synth wizard, Guitarist, and Producer! If the world don't blow up this should be a great year for F.U.T.M.!! We are also writing and re-recording the songs that were done on older tape based equipment. So lets take a listen and explore the world of Faces Under the Mirror.

Hi, I'm Dj Facehaven and this is my music profile for the solo electronica project that I have made from the past and the present. I use no pre-made loops or beats on my original material.  The music you hear on this page was made before, during and after Faces Under the Mirror. Even though Faces is still under my wing and my baby I still feel like there is more to be heard from me as a Dj and a Musician. I've always loved good electronica and the many genres of "Techno" that are found today. I mostly like Electro, Trance and EBM and Industrial. I love to dance to hard hitting beats and I like to spin great music to keep a crowd pumped. I've spun at Tracks (when it was Dream), on Thurs nights. I was the resident 80's Dj for the Snakepit for a year and a half along with IVO (from the Churches' Goth Night and the Shelter), This was after Garth and Eli left SHE BOP and handed it down to me. I spun at 2101 one night and several other smaller venues. After a almost 10 year hiatus we started playing out again in 2011! Faces Under the Mirror has played out recently with Faderhead, (First time ever playing Denvers, Gothic Theatre) Deadhand Project, Hydrogen Skyline,  Red This Ever, Christian Death, and Assemblage 23. Denver born act, Synapse. In some of our previous shows we played at The Church thanks to Pure Drama. The Bluebird thanks to Cranberry of Split Second Massacre. Charles of Seraphim Shock, gave me my first club play at The Temple of the Morning Star" nightclub in Denver.. We played our first show at The Rising Phoenix in Arvada, a coffee house/ dance club that the scene frequented at the time around the "Millenium Era". Faces played with a slew of local bands including, Emergence (which split to form Darker Days Tomorrow and Die Brucke, Agressomnia, which later became Burn Curcuit and now Dj BC Ality rose from the ashes of that project and is still tearing up the hard house scene. We played with Erotic, ( which is Thommy Razor of... We played with Dialectics, The Bedraggled, Hazy Swirl, Pure Drama, Hell Camino, 3.0 (Judean Radiostatic), Written in Ashes, Hanging Thomas,  and most recently Gothic Rock Legends - @ChristianDeath. (Which were very cool people)
