As a newcomer to the eclectic scene, Ultravizion is a bit of a mystery, spanning releases on The Purr, Dream Culture, RYNTH and Fuchsklang Musik. Ultravizion is also another half of the brand new record label @EchocentricRecords.

His craft is based on ambient, dreamy & lush sounds with emotive melodies and deep beats.  We are happy to say that he will be releasing "Ethereum" with us at Canopy Sounds this month of September. Keep your ears on this artist!

This week's artwork is a special piece created by brand new Canopy Sounds resident artist, Elisabetta Da Pra. Hailing from Italy, Elisabetta's bubbly personality and ability to paint lush landscapes and exotic, tranquil scenery is what attracted the Canopy family to welcome her with open arms. Belgium’s Bigasti and Switzerland’s Floloco work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with an narrative mix of both, deep and thriving elements. After years of experience in electronic music as individual artists, Gimérique unites the signature sound of two artists to a new chapter on their promising path in the electronic music scene.

It all started with a joint DJ set released on Schirmchendrink, which the two founded together. After several joint DJ sessions they felt it was about time to take the project to the next level.

With their first collaborative production in 2020, Gimérique took Lerr's 'Hummingbird' into deep and dreamy territory. Groovy and emotive in equal measure it made an auspicious production debut for Gimerique on Sound Avenue's first edition of their 'Re:Imagined‘ remix series. Gimérique's first original production is being released in Spring 2020 and explores a more ambient landscape of their sound.

Floloco and Bigasti individually are passionate about electronic music ever since they can remember. Together, they are Gimérique.

This is my set from the Neomenia main stage, Saturday night 10-11:30. I recorded this post festival because I wanted to mark this set as a point in time, something to look back on and remember what we all did when we came together for a beautiful weekend at the end of a hard year. I had a LOT of fun playing this live Saturday night, hope that this can bring back some memories and get us excited for the next one!
