Yeah boy!  I did this to compare to the first scratchy thing I posted after 10 weeks of casual practice; I started 12 weeks ago but was unable to use the mixer for at least 2 weeks during that time.

The ubiquitous ahh-fresh sample plus a breaks loop leftover from something else I did right before this still loaded in my DDM4000's mediocre loop sampler;
TANGENT: the sampler sounds fine and is super versatile.  It is mediocre because it is supposed to create loops in perfect bar-lengths of your choice, it does not do that, it's pretty much way off.  That said, I am now skilled at punching in a loop's start and stop manually, adding to my value as a DJ.
I still don't have the 'ahh-fresh' sample on vinyl, instead I am using time-coded vinyl and Traktor 3.  I sense a tiny amount of latency, which can have a cool unexpected organic feel to my increasingly exceptional, robotic fader work at the cost of loose needle-to-vinyl timing.  I am not making an excuse for any sloppiness, I know that I am still a little off in timing, however I am a stating with authority that I am tighter than this with straight up vinyl.  Only using my Vestax PDX-2000 on the left, the right table skips too much for now.  I plan to post another track using this sample again in April 2022 for comparison, if it as good as I think will be I will call it, "Oh...fresh!  My ego is writin' checks!
