J-Luv Da Prince, a Cuero, Texas native, is reclaiming his title as the “Prince of R&B.” Starting his musical journey as an emcee in Houston during his teens, he later pioneered an R&B-forward hybrid sound in the late 2000s. With standout projects like "How They Told Me To Do It" (2009), "The Major Comeback" (2010), and the double album "Sexual Encounters/The Heart of a Man," J-Luv became known for his sultry vocals and raw emotion. After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus starting in 2017, he returned with a refined sound and a renewed purpose. His latest work includes the re-release of the heartfelt holiday track "My Christmas Gift," a deeply personal tribute to love and family, originally released in 2015.
