The Bush School is a K-12 co-educational independent school located in Seattle, WA. 

Our Upper School (Ninth-Twelfth Grade) Music Department, lead by music teacher Jill Wangsgard, produces records every year on our own recording label, Broken Records. 

The Bush School was founded in 1924 by progressive educator Helen Taylor Bush who believed that children learn best by doing and that children should be trusted to take ownership of their own learning.

Our mission is to spark in students of diverse backgrounds and talents a passion for learning, accomplishment, and contribution to their communities.
