Adrenaline Quality wants to promote MAO training, and has teamed up with the We Make Noise initiative (formerly Beats by girlz) to support participants in MAO and music tech workshops. After a year of work, this compilation brings together the work of 6 of the association's female producers. We believe in the importance of supporting female producers by reaffirming their legitimacy right from the start of their careers.

CLUB CHAI Vol. 2 is a collection of tracks by artists whose work truly embodies the Club Chai ethos that exists in storytelling through sound. As we close out the label, this release remains a lustrous perspective on the future.

Alongside the compilation, the Club Chai Archive book is out today on our Bandcamp. You can preorder the book alongside the digital release of the compilation for a bundled price of $35 ($15 for the compilation and $25 for the book).

The archive book is a culmination of all the moving parts that make up Club Chai at once – a way to honor the project's complexity and intimacy. A way to honor the project's complexity and intimacy. How do we remember and archive something that is really made up of a fleeting feeling? Being on the dancefloor with friends, singing in unison or zoning out in complete bliss. It feels right to create something physical that can be held, touched and encountered slowly and 
carefully. Making this book entirely with friends makes it feel even more intimate and special.

Bored Lord - Waiting For

This mix was created in January of 2021 through a veil of deep reflection, mourning, and the desire to attain catharsis. All of these songs, many by absolute masters in their respective genres, feature a form of ecstatic vocal centered around the voice as a direct connection to the collective human soul and beyond. Gratitude has become a centering space for me to dwell in the midst of these troubling times. There are moments in this mix that bring me to tears of gratitude for the divine beauty and sheer power of human breath to give life to everything it touches, even within a cataclysmal storm.
