Aww yea! This time with Kurnel MC and Isabel Drake at their side, Captain Flatcap are back with an all-new, all-encompasing, genre-busting EP - 'Squelchedelic Sounds'. The flavours of swing-garage in ‘In My Blood’ and swing-funk in ‘Let's Have Some Fun!’ make for two dirty DJ gems, guaranteed to get any crowd moving like puppets on strings! ‘Bong Hits From A Preacher Man’ is a creative and glitching collage of various classic soul, hip-hop, dub (and a certain smokeable something!) styles and samples! To finish, 'Rat Race' shows off the best of Isabel Drake's smooth and soulful voice, accompanied by some deep and organic instrumentation and bass roars! As you'd expect the EP is tied cohesively together by parading a multitude of familiar Flatcap instruments, including the distinctive flute and trumpet parts.
