Captain Zippy is a funky eight piece soul n roll sensation, winners of Best of the Bands 2011, formed early this year. The band have already experienced their fair share of ups and downs in their short lifetime, first with the loss of their pianist, and then their vocalist; but nevertheless they carried on! With their new vocalist, and expanded horn section they're sounding tighter than ever. Having only 3 months under the belt with their new line up they went on to win Best of the Bands, Grand Opera House, with flying colours.
