Tosca have been curating top shelf remixes of their material for as long as the group has been in existence. While working on their latest remix collection <i>Tlapa</i>, Richard Dorfmeister & Rupert Huber decided to extend an invitation to their fans to contribute remixes. In conjunction with Beatport, they conducted a remix contest for the non-album track "Looking," and after serious deliberation, have chosen Daniel Broadhurst's excellent remix as the winner. 

The winning remix is available now as a single on <a href="http://www.beatport.com/release/looking/1152839">Beatport</a>, and the full remix album is <a href="http://k7.greedbag.com/buy/tlapa-the-odeon-remixes-2/">out now</a>.

Tosca - "Looking" (Daniel Broadhurst Remix)

"Bela Lugosi's Dead" is a gothic rock song written by the band Bauhaus. The song was the band's first single, released in August 1979, and is often considered to be the first gothic rock record to be released.[1][2] It did not enter the UK charts. The B-side featured the song "Boys" and some versions also include a portion of an early demo recording of what would be their next single, "Dark Entries". It was released on CD in 1988[3] and was compiled on the 1998 album, Crackle - The Best of Bauhaus. The original sleeve art was taken from a still of the film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.[2] The authors listed on the single are David Haskins, Kevin Haskins, Peter Murphy and Daniel Ash.[4]

Brandt Brauer Frick & Pinquins - Live at Øya Festival, Museum of Modern Art, Oslo

Brandt Brauer Frick have made name for themselves producing Techno without the technology, using classical instruments in preference to synthesizers and computers. Their 2010 debut album You Make Me Real was a forward-thinking feat. They reworked it in 2011 on their second longplayer Mr. Machine - a Techno record totally recorded live by a ten-piece classical ensemble. On their third album Miami they again take a new direction to cross frontiers. This time they wrote more songs then tracks and feature guest vocalists like British crooner Jamie Lidell, the to die for Russian DJ and producer Nina Kraviz as well as Om’Mas Keith - one third of Sa-Ra Creative Partners and Grammy awarded producer of Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange album. In cooperation with Carhartt WIP Brandt Brauer Frick now go on an Europe tour where they will present their new stripped down live show with vocal guest Om'Mas Keith. To accompany the tour with some specialities they mixed us a exclusive Carhartt Radio Show that melts their remix works for artists like Nôze or Francesco Tristano with exclusive material that didn't make it on their latest longplayer.
