Bruno Neher – Ein Pionier der deutschen Musik in Brasilien

Bruno Neher war eine bedeutende Persönlichkeit in der Bewahrung der deutschen Kultur in Brasilien. Als talentierter und vorausschauender Komponist machte er sich einen Namen, indem er in einer Zeit, in der es kaum üblich war, Lieder auf Deutsch in Südbrasilien schrieb und aufnahm. Sein Werk bildet eine Brücke zwischen der Tradition der Einwanderer und der musikalischen Identität des Bundesstaates Rio Grande do Sul.

Im Jahr 1967 gründete Bruno das Musikensemble Os 3 Xirus, das bald zu einer Referenz in der regionalen und deutschsprachigen Musikszene wurde. Er war einer der ersten Künstler, die komplette Alben auf Deutsch in Rio Grande do Sul aufnahmen, und trug damit maßgeblich zur Bewahrung des kulturellen Erbes bei.

Seine Lieder erzählen von der Freude am einfachen Leben, der Stärke der Familie, den traditionellen Festen des Landesinneren und dem Stolz, Nachfahre deutscher Einwanderer zu sein. Mehr als nur Musik – Bruno Neher hinterließ ein kulturelles Vermächtnis, das bis heute in den Herzen vieler weiterlebt.

I think that at this stage of my life I can afford to write, and make music the way my heart wants to express itself, without waiting for applause, because I no longer care about applause, I have long passed that phase... now it only matters to write and sing the truths of my heart, which obviously may not be the truths of your heart, but they are mine!
Sou compositor e produtor independente, tenho 58 anos e estou sozinho. Quase morri afogado no dia 3 de maio de 2024 na grande enchente.
