Consciously avoiding the group photograph's, then pondering where you are when you see the resulting masterpiece. Ever wondering which action makes you more human.

comprehending inhumane, but struggling to grasp human.

Sometimes the human touch isn't enough.

My children seek blankets or cuddly toys to comfort them. When I seek comfort/familiarity or reassurance, music offers me warmth, either listening to, or recording.

Thank you Alise for being so generous with your time and talent and coming to work in my very basic home studio, with ancient gear and an ancient bloke. You helped to make the record exactly what I had imagined. It truely needed a gifted pianists touch and not my rough and heavy mitt's.

The story:
I wrote this song on my acoustic guitar and started to record it that way, but just wasn't getting the vibe as I did when played live. I tried various ways to get it down with the guitar including an electric...nope, nothing happening.
So I  then thought maybe it wants to be a piano song but my wooden, plonkey key skills were not up to the task. About this time I was thinking possibly the song was not that good. Maybe I was feeling the emotion from the lyrics and not the melody. So I decided to play it at the next open mic, along with two other new songs and I asked the audience to pick which to record next. They all said this one.  On the way to sit back down Alise, who I knew was an amazing piano player, said, "Thats a beautiful song". So, I tried my luck and replied, "I'm just not getting it down with the guitar, what the song needs is a classically trained pianist, anyone spring to mind?" Alise smiled and said, "I would love to be involved". I was tickled pink.

Born in México City in 1955, started playing at an early age. In Mexico, I played with bands like  "Atrás del Cosmos", "Queso Sagrado", " Broken Heart", "Decibel", "Bardo Thodol", "Kathmandu Ensemble". In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Thomas Truax and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
