I will be, before being a musician, an adventurer of sound, I research and compose outside the paths all traced by the music industry, my goal not being to earn a living from it. 
I have an immense pleasure to be able to do what I like, as I want to and without imposed constraints. Total freedom of expression for a music that is very personal to me and that I share above all to inspire other experimenters to move forward.
So here is : MOOG Fragments

15 little extracts made between 2007 and 2020 with the MOOG Synth from Arturia. (I would have liked an authentic one, but ...)
The MOOG is a very special sound, very exciting and very inspiring. Above all, it is a synth of limitless research, always surprising. With patience and skill, it is easy to fall in love with it, to the point of spending sleepless nights...
Once you get your fingers on it, it's hard to get off, even though other synths are also excellent.
I also fiddle with them from time to time to perfect my education :-), but as it is often said, "you always come back to your first love" and it is quite true !

Je serai, avant d'être musicien, un aventurier du son, je recherche et compose en dehors des sentiers tous tracés par l'industrie musicale, mon but n'étant pas d'en vivre. 
J'ai un immense plaisir à pouvoir faire ce que j'aime, comme je le veux et sans contraintes imposées. Une totale liberté d'expression pour une musique qui m'est très personnelle et que je partage avant tout pour donner envie à d'autres expérimentateurs d'aller de l'avant.

15 petits extraits réalisés entre 2007 et 2020 avec le MOOG Synth d'Arturia. (J'aurais aimé un authentique, mais ...)
Le MOOG est un son très spécial, très excitant et très inspirant. Par-dessus tout, c'est un synthé à la recherche illimitée, toujours surprenant. Avec de la patience et de l'habileté, il est facile d'en tomber amoureux, au point de passer des nuits blanches...
Une fois qu'on a mis les doigts dessus, il est difficile de s'en détacher, même si d'autres synthés sont également excellents.
Je les bidouille aussi de temps en temps pour parfaire mon éducation :-), mais comme on le dit souvent, "on revient toujours à son premier amour" et c'est bien vrai !

Crazy Little Spaceship Called Earth

I've tried to capture the building tension and heart racing fear towards the end of the Ann Leckie's "Ancillary Justice". It involves a space shuttle, an airlock, an oxygen tank, a hero and two "baddies" trying to get in.  I didn't find it easy but I enjoyed the effort! 
The guitar parts were played on a Duesenberg Paloma through a modern metal amp using vintage style tube distortion and echo delay. The bass was played on a Fender Jazz Bass, relatively clean...

Constellations.
A slightly crazy and nicely wacky title with a partition done by my friends, the Constellations.
We had a lot of fun.
What I like about this method of creation is that the possibilities are infinite just like the infinity of the universe. Music IS infinite.

On s'est beaucoup amusé.

Constellations

Born in México City in 1955, started playing at an early age. In Mexico, I played with bands like  "Atrás del Cosmos", "Queso Sagrado", " Broken Heart", "Decibel", "Bardo Thodol", "Kathmandu Ensemble", Silent Light. In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Ken Man, Scott Hartley, Thomas Truax and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
