We turn up the heat for this release as we welcome a name that has been resonating in hard techno circles for some time now. 'Syrus The Virus' has been stacking up releases on labels such as; Hydraulix, Dreizehn Schallplatten, Mechanikal, and many more. So with all that in mind, we knew it was about time that we had his sound on the label, and he's pulling out all the stops on these hard, roaring, tribal bangers. Yes, we have it all, pure dancefloor killers with some very nifty production skills.

The E.P. also comes with 3 remixes, and first up is dab hand and remix pro, Carl Shorts, as he gives us 2 versions of in-ya-face, noise-shattering, rumbling techno belters of 'Tribal Resonance'. The other remix on the release is from Irish whiz kids, Luke&Flex, as they go for a more stripped back version of 'Emergency System'. All-in-all, we have a heavy, menacing, impressively cracking, 5 track E.P. on our hands here, so take yer pick!... Infact, play them all!

Carl Shorts is the sonic alter ego of an extraordinary, forward-thinking hard techno producer and composer. Known for delivering uncompromising, hard-hitting techno, his style is raw, relentless and industrial - forged in the underground and built for concrete walls, strobe lit floors and peak hour pressure.

Inspired by the grit of 90s European techno and the do it yourself ethics of modern underground movements, Shorts leads a new breed of hard techno artists. Drawing influence from the pulse of Berlins basements to the industrial echoes of Detroit, Shorts' productions are driven by pounding kick drums, relentless grooves and distorted rhythms and textures to create the hard-hitting sound that he is renowned for.  

With a sound firmly rooted in the underground scene, Shorts' technical compositional and production abilities allow him to channel a philosophy of movement, tension, and release in his tracks whilst constantly pushing the boundaries of hard techno music - no gimmicks, no compromises, just pure sustained intensity and power,  producing work that goes beyond expectation and never diluted.
