THIS IS A YOUTH ENGAGEMENT THAT SEEKS TO NURTURE MORALS, VALUES AND PRINCIPLES  TO ALL AND WILL LAST WELL BEYOND THEIR YOUNG YEARS. DEVELOPING THE QUALITIES OF LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORK WILL CATALYSE THE LIFESTYLE OF THE ‘BREED WITHOUT GREED’. 

WE BELIEVE IN A PARADIGM SHIFT FROM A PERCEIVED ‘LOST’ GENERATION TO A GENERATION RECONNECTED BACK TO SOCIETY IN LEGACY NO MATTER THE BACKGROUND OR UPBRINGING.  

WE ENDEAVOUR NOT TO DISRUPT BUT SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY FRAMEWORK BY HELPING TO DRAW OUT UNTAPPED PASSIONS AND ASPIRATIONS AND BROADENING HORIZONS TO MAKE IMPOSSIBILITIES POSSIBLE THROUGH A RANGE OF MENTORING SCHEMES, FORUMS AND NETWORKS.

Conceived from the idea to unite and promote our Northwest electronic music scene, You Plus One emerged originally as a successful attempt to keep the house and techno scene alive locally in Vancouver, Canada.
