Chris Howe realised the other day that he's been writing songs in one form or another for about ten years. After starting university in the North East, he found himself playing songs in his bedroom as 'one man and his guitar'. It took some time for him to start playing his music in public, but since then he has performed at open mic nights all over the area, gradually gaining confidence and adding to his material. He sees himself as primarily being a storyteller, and was elated when his mother once described a song of his as having 'a lovely tune'. A fingerpicking style and confident vocals help cover themes ranging from the apocalypse to stationary, and most important things in between.

A foot-stomping, toe-tapping, finger-clicking, cider-swilling acoustic guitar/harmonica duo - lurching through the swamps of blues, country, rockabilly and jugband.
