Carrissa Blu is a New York City based singer-songwriter specializing in Synthpop. 
Her first single “Freedom” was released on major music platforms in 2014. It’s an anthemic song that speaks to just about anyone who is human. 

A rising star that is equally at home in a recording studio or on stage in front of thousands, Carrissa is the real deal. Her irresistible voice and alluring looks are easy to fall for, but it’s her passionate delivery of heartfelt lyrics that listeners respond to, whether at a show or through their speakers. Simply put, she is a pop-lighting strike.

Carrissa’s prowess as a live performer and her distinct, dominant chops have made her the go-to-girl to deliver the national anthem for major sports leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. From the Miami Heat court to the New York Knicks court in Madison Square Garden, Carrissa’s soaring vocals exude strength and sincerity. In fact, Carrissa’s ability to navigate this notoriously difficult song landed her in a 2013 New York Times story, “O Say, Can You Sing at the Ballpark? It’s a Tough Song.”

Carrissa’s passion for singing became clear early on when her church choir in Tampa, Florida, asked her to take a solo. She says, “The moment I stepped on stage I felt a high like nothing I’ve experienced before. I knew then exactly what I wanted to do with my life.”

Her phrasing and pitch is solid as she delivers her more vocally challenging renditions. She says, “My music is about my life experiences through hardships, the ups and the downs. I want to inspire people to give them hope when there seems to be no hope and make every person feel empowered.”

Carrissa maintains a busy performance schedule in New York City and around the country, including her hometown of Tampa. In the first half of 2015, Carrissa has delivered more than 12 live performances. She has also been blessed to have her music play on top Pop radio stations in New York and Florida.

Anthony T. Jones, also known as AT, is a chameleon piano player originally from Selma, Alabama. His journey as a musician started at the age of 14, while playing at a small local church. "They payed me $75 a week, and eventually that grew to a weekly source of income for me and my mother." Being able to help his family by doing something that he loved to do, overtime, drove AT to focus on becoming a better piano player. A few years later, AT became a musical director at a mega church. The experience as a mega church musical director gave AT the courage and confidence that he needed to make a major move from the South to the big city of Chicago to pursue music fulltime.

The progressive music scene in Chicago began helping AT to hone his craft and while allowing him to gain a professional edge as an experienced musician. AT has had the privilege to play for artist like Stevie Wonder and TyeTribbett. He also was blessed with the prestigious opportunity to musically direct a Chicago Musical, The Color Purple.   
 
AT currently lives in New York and is striving to increase his musical skills. Since living in New York, AT has had the privilege of accompanying Michael lynche from American Idol, and recently landed a musical director position.
