We're happy to welcome the debut EP from @biota_official

BIOTA represents the symbiotic coexistence of flora & fauna, bridging ancient & modern, utilizing contrast to create colorful diversity. 
Their journey is exploration of sound and movement, driven by aesthetics of sound art, cinematic atmosphere, psychedelia and the gritty roots of blues and rock&roll.

In Sistema Organico, the Israelian duo Roman Galperin & Moses Chimen deliver a variety of sonic textures, from spacey feedback guitars through tasty analog synths, forest flutes, traditional percussion, shamanic vibes and more delights - all composed into musical moods to dive into.

The whole piece is inspired by the meditative depths of the natural world, a tribute to the forest, the jungle, the great rivers and thoughts about our relationship with them as human beings.

The Garden of Earthly Delights is the modern title given to a triptych oil painting on oak panel painted by the Early Netherlandish master Hieronymus Bosch, between 1490 and 1510, when Bosch was between 40 and 60 years old. It has been housed in the Museo del Prado in Madrid, Spain since 1939. As little is known of Bosch's life or intentions, interpretations of his intent range from an admonition of worldly fleshy indulgence, to a dire warning on the perils of life's temptations, to an evocation of ultimate sexual joy. The intricacy of its symbolism, particularly that of the central panel, has led to a wide range of scholarly interpretations over the centuries. Twentieth-century art historians are divided as to whether the triptych's central panel is a moral warning or a panorama of paradise lost. Bosch painted three large triptychs (the others are The Last Judgment of c. 1482 and The Haywain Triptych of c. 1516) that can be read from left to right and in which each panel was essential to the meaning of the whole. Each of these three works presents distinct yet linked themes addressing history and faith. Ephlum is getting lost in les Jardins des Delices. This is his second offering for Shango Records. This track can give you a panorama of paradise lost. Ohxala, Stephane Salerno and Yemanjo are giving music themes of history and faith.

Fertil Discos presents "Paisajes", the first "ecompilado" that makes visible landscapes at risk of extinction in Latin America. With a conglomerate of global producers, it proposes 15 tracks in the key of soundscape and electronic song that dialogue with the environment in order to introduce us to different geographies that suffer the consequences of human exploitation.

Together with Germinar ONG from Buenos Aires, we try to make these scenarios visible and contribute to manage with environmental awareness and responsibility, rethinking culture and industry in a context of a global ecological crisis. 

The second single is by NAOBA + URSO from Nicaragua, a track that honors the mirrors of water in their country, especially Masaya lake, a potential source of fresh water for the south zone of the country. However, and although it has a high scenic, recreational and fishing value, the high levels of contamination limit its use. The electronic song imagines a psychedelic trip around the lake and the landscape.

I love listening to world music! Making edits of these amazing classic songs is my way to give them new life and new opportunity to be played in environments that they may normally not have ever had the chance to be heard. 

This music, Latin, African, Native American folklore and traditional music is so powerful, it really connects to something deep in our human instincts and makes us feel alive. When I play these edits in DJ sets live people always connect and move naturally to the music :)

I made this edit a few months ago and played it in almost all my sets over the last high season in Tulum and Central America. It's a great high energy downtempo track to get people moving, and now I am sharing it with you as a gift!

Hailing from Poland's ancient capital Krakow, the young producer Krzysztof Junak alias Helucze  has been crafting his way toward music since childhood, taking its lead from the increasingly interconnected world out there. Consequently, after two EPs (“Inside Plants” & “Light of the Straw Hats”) released by the American netlabel Avocaudio, he shows off a third one called “Silver Black Boy”, still keeping it fresh and exhibiting sharply varying moods, but
at this time attuning in a dub-drenched alignment.

Places. Slightest whiffs. Surrounding scents. This EP draws from the fearless way that Helucze plays with the idea that places have an olfactory identity, whose converse is true, smell turns up in surprising places. Beyond getting highly inspired by those, he drops a
bass-driven electro-dub that adds a subtle balance of unconventional grooves and whimsical interludes in this seemingly imaginative piece of work that’s simply charming to listen to it.

On “Silver Black Boy” EP all the four tracks reveal progressive journeys, ones whose lead bounces between instruments while a
mesmeric kaleidoscopic musical montage is being constructed. But notwithstanding this, allowing the depths of dub to shine, skanking
across multi-layered scenarios which push a sound as open-ended as it is unmistakable.

It isn’t the build and burn of traditional dance. It’s twisted, amusing and builds the foundations for a global spaced-out dub that
occasionally pierce through the dreaminess; a dynamic imagery moving quickly but never rushing. Helucze is reminding us that there
aren't actually any rules to this crazy thing called electronic music, always changing and figuring itself out along the way.

This track came alive through a moment of exploring west-african desert blues guitar combined with producing an abstract, pulsing world beat while pondering life in the garden of my home in Berlin. Months later, while traveling through the sacred valley of Peru on a journey with cactus medicine, my brother Dawid passed me samples of a recording of the Mwami tribe (meaning King Shepherd) and royal drums from Rwanda whose cultural music and identity has disappeared since the republic was formed in 1961. These samples I have mixed with my production and guitar playing to give it an otherworldly feel. I believe in the idea of carrying cultural heritage through the medium of sound and production thus giving new life to ancient tradition and merging the old with a new artistic vision.
