Welcome along to this weeks show and what a show it was.

First up is Paul Curran our newest addition to the Disco Waltons. Paul had been a long time supporter of all of our members and it seemed only right to have him to officially join our community. Paul has been an integral part of promoting our shows and always joining in with chats to show his support. With this in mind he was added to our production team here at DWSS.

Apart from being a great bloke Paul is a fantastic DJ from Ireland. His mixes are upbeat & joyful with a mix of new & old disco & house. We're absolutely honoured to have Paul host his first show as a DW ❤️

Tonight Paul be warming up for fantastic DJ Jennyloco from San Francisco. Jenny was first introduced to us by our friends & fellow DWs over at Spin City
 
Jennyloco has been a DJ since the late 90s. She started her sets at Colombian music at festivals in the early 2000's and switched her focus to electronic music in 2016. In 2019, she began her involvement in the digital scene, showcasing her carefully crafted and highly eclectic DJ sets. We can't wait to have her on the show & see what she has for us.

About this journey:
I recorded the mix during my  winter escape journey in the Dominican Republic. There are great views of the Atlantic Ocean from my friends house on a hill with  a lush green tropical garden.
Beautiful birds, lizards and lots of baby geckos are around to spot.
And many kitesurfers on windy beaches on turquoise waters.
When listening to the mix you might  see the kites racing and flying over the waves  or travel through other vast landscapes or cosmic spaces.
I kept the mix evolving in positive moods and mostly instrumental style. 
Crispy rhythms, warm basses and some catchy melodies are provided.     
Dancing is welcome. Just empty your mind and enjoy the journey.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

Alex Doering (@alexdoering): thirty-two complete orbits around the sun, traveler, music enthusiast, nature lover, kungFu disciple, entrepreneur, activist. Currently, he shares a place with a good friend in Germany's Southwest. We asked him "who are you?" and then he said: "I like to see myself as a taoist and look at the world as it is. Nevertheless I choose to see and experience both, the beauty and absurdity of this life. For me, sound plays an essential role in this matter. Also I don’t take myself too seriously." For sure a down to earth guy.

So Alex wisely will guide us into this 84th edition. Even though it's already Tuesday this particular mixtape look very much like a weekend-vibe that insists to reverberate all over the room. Alex recorded this mix in order to share some aspects of his music taste and style of mixing. It often comes out slightly incoherent, but he likes to call it colourful. We're pretty sure that this one is more than colorful, it is a very special sound collage. Do not hesitate.
