Born in Çanakkale Köprübaşı village, the percussionist and DJ Ali Bakır is living currently in Bursa, Turkey. Being on the stage is among his greatest passions since Ali's musical life has begun with the rhythm instruments that he learned to play. So, the main goal is to be able to make people dance in trance by showing his versatility, productivity in various styles and paces. Melting art and music in the same pot; he tells stories through multicultural, hypnotic, organic grooves.

The Turkish DJ usually prepares sets in an instant impulse influenced by his daily routine, where he and his housemates are trying to get through these quarantine days. Despite having a home studio Ali doesn't skimp effort when it comes to craft and to sew soundscapes. Through 58 minutes his music selection is a spectral combination and juxtaposition of soothing instrumental, heavenly vocals, relaxing and addicting type beat. 205th edition, here we go!

After having flattened some curves of the automation, Marcel (you can call him the second half of Geplantes Nichtstun) did some mastering adjustment to optimize the 90 minutes for your speakers or earphones. Originally played on function one, during some lovely rainless moments with even decent sunrays. Enjoy!

Meet our mysterious, sexy and groundbreaking queer artist Thomas Costantin!

Thomas Costantin, DJ and sound/visual artist currently based in Milan. Since 2014, he is the resident DJ at the historic Plastic Club. He is a music consultant for numerous high-end fashion houses. His cosmopolitan soul has a deep attraction not only for music, but also for cinema, costume, analogue photography, vintage atmospheres and technicolor. 

The liveliness of Red is the color that best represents his work: intense, energetic, deep.


*What pushed you towards music production? Where did the inspiration come from?

When I started to produce, around 2018, I was listening to more or less 12 hours of music every day, playing 3 or 4 nights every week. I was thinking that I also wanted other people to listen to my music, to create something new to share with my community.

* Do you think music interconnects with culture?  How does the environment you live in affect your music?

Yes, absolutely. Especially nowadays music is really melted with all the rest of art and cultures. I see music as the perfect way to express, also images and ideas.
Music and life are super connected. I am really inspired by people. My friends and other artists really help me in my endless music research. I am attracted to the different mixes of cultures in music. 

* Do you get inspired by any other form of art?

Sure, I love to paint also, especially with water colors. I love cinema, especially the vintage ones and I’m used to working with images, actually I see myself sometimes more as a multidisciplinary creative director than just as a music artist.

* What makes a set a good one?

The selection of the tracks. Technique is also important, but I think it is nothing without a good selection. When you play music you also play with emotions.

* What’s the process you follow when bringing tunes together? Is it instinctive only or do you plan ahead?

It is quite instinctive but I also work every day on archives and on folders in my computer. I play lots of different sets, with different sounds and vibes, for different crowds, so I absolutely need discipline and order.

* What would you like to say about your podcast?

I am very happy to share this set. It was a very special night with the Kanto family in one of my favorite cities, which actually is Paris. Honestly, I can’t wait to play with them all together!

PALE PENGUIN’s one of the key figures in Greek electronic scene. Based in Thessaloniki, Greece, he’s been djing for almost 20 years being one of the best Greek Breaks/Techno/Tech-House djs.  throughout Greece, Italy and Germany, and being presented in many sites, radios, forums. Since early 2007, together with Echonomist and Mr.Lookman, launched and manages V.I.M. (Very Important Music) Records, releasing quality Breaks, Tech-House, Electronica singles and albums by many International and Greek artists. From the beginning of 2009 he has formed with KID STRETCH the Funky/Disco-Breaks project PALE THE KID.  In the beginning of 2011 together with STAMA he had launched DIABLO LOCO RECORDS, a label specialized on top quality Tech-Breaks/Tech-Funk releases. DIABLO LOCO RECORDS managed to do an awesome start with awesome singles and remixes.  Gained BREAKSPOLL 2012 BEST NEW BREAKS LABEL AWARD. From 2013 till 2015 he launced the Bassline project NYCTEUS. Since 2018 together with Mr.Lookman they produce as KELLIE SAKKAKU in a hypnotic/world/tribal/tech mood.

Pale Penguin -Full Harvest Moon

That autumn morning, the little witch woke up from the pleasant sound of the singing birds in her forest.  With her eyes half-open and still feeling drowsy from a good night’s sleep, her heart suddenly skipped a beat from excitement when she realized the next night there would be a full moon, which meant she’ll participate in the monthly witch coven (which always happens in a different location and in the ever-changing company of two other witches).  
After finishing her morning rituals and the daily inspection round of the damp and fresh woods, the girl said goodbye to the forest dwellers, and flew into the unknown.  She knew she would – as always - reach her destination by simply following her inner compass.  This time she was flying into South-Eastern direction, over a lush green landscape of hills and valleys until she reached The Vosges, a low mountain range in northeastern France, where she gently touched down in a clearing in a huge pine forest.  To her surprise, there were plenty of beautiful cuckoo-flowers blooming, which was very unusual in this time of the year.  Soon afterwards, two other witches touched down simultaneously, one coming from the South-West while the other came from the other side of the mighty river in the East.  The three women were extremely surprised to see that all of them were still young, as generally, a witch coven takes place with a young, a middle-aged (around 150 years) and an old witch of at least 500 years of age.  And even more surprising … all 3 witches were pregnant.  Actually, it was the very first time the little witch met other pregnant witches.  They all sensed this coven would be a very, very special one.  In another wonderful coincidence, it turned all 3 witches were 21 months pregnant, which is exactly half-way for a witch.
After the customary group hug, the witches performed a series of mystic ceremonies and ecstatic dances.  Around midnight, the three women got very tired (which is actually very unusual during a witch coven) and decided to lie down and rest in the soft moss, and soon the three of them drifted away in a blissful sleep.  After some time, the little witch woke up and she immediately sensed that her womb was empty.  She instantly knew her baby was having yet another out-of-womb excursion and she wasn’t the least bit worried.  At that moment, the two other witches also woke up and discovered that their unborn babies were also gone.  Then they heard children’s voices in the distance, singing a cheerful French song ‘Un, Deux, Trois, Nous Irons Au Bois’ (‘1, 2, 3, we go to the forest’).  
The three witches walked towards the voices and soon they saw the three little girls, who seemed to be around 3 years of age and singing and dancing friskily around a bunch of floating lights (which somehow they must have created themselves with a magic spell).  The moms kept a respectful distance in order not to disturb their ebullient offspring, whose nocturnal activities drew the attention of quite a few rabbits, hedgehogs and squirrels.  Soon they were all singing and dancing in a spontaneous rave party, singing ‘7, 8, 9, Et C'est La Teuf !!!’
After a while the witches decided to return to the clearing where they soon fell asleep again.  Just before sunrise, the young witch woke up and immediately sensed her baby had returned to the safety of her womb and the same thing had also happened to the 2 other witches.  After the morning rituals and a healthy breakfast, the 3 (or rather 6) witches gave each other a tender group hug and flew back to their home forests, very happy and very proud of the next generation of witches …
