You wouldn’t find pearls on the beach. If you really want a pearl you will have to dive for it. For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. After all, it is music that makes us do things we usually wouldn’t dare. It is a whirl we really like to jump into like a big and swinging web of silk and sorrow.

Seit mehr als fünf Jahren tauchen wir in unendlichen Meeren, durchforsten verzweigte Wälder, um Musikstücke zu finden, die einen auf eine Reise mitnehmen und tief beeindrucken. Sie betören, faszinieren und entzücken ihre Hörer, die sich in diese Kunstwerke verlieben und sich in ihnen verlieren. Premiere: Moonbootica - Hear Your Love (Larse Remix)

What better way to kick off 2012 for Suruba than new productions from the label heads themselves. After a cracking year that saw Los Suruba release music with Noir Music, Darkroom Dubs, Eklektisch, Time Has Changed and of course Suruba and Suruba X, today the duo serve up a statement of their intentions for the year and deliver and tasty starter ahead of their first EP for Get Physical in February.   

Both originals present contrasting and fresh moments for the floor. Basslines lead the way accompanied by the fantastic vocals of Louisahhh!!!, Los Angeles-based New York artist that you'll remember from last summer’s: "Your Everything" by Danny Daze.   

Backing the originals is a remix from major iberian talent, Edu Imbernon. Although only 22, Edu has already lent his remix talents to The XX, Maya Jane Coles, X-Press 2, Paolo Mojo and Uner... and released his own work on more than 30 labels including Get Physical, Diynamic, Noir Music, Darkroom Dubs... and has been the youngest no.1 in Beatport’s history.

Robosonic and Gorge both deliver amazing remixes destined for the club plays and if you are not into the vocal work, they also provided us with some good old dub takes on the tracks. This could have been divided into 2 great releases, but..... We decided to go for 1 AMAZING release."
