Originally formed by a group of childhood friends from central Scotland and California, Corserine is now the singular vision of Caro Tyle. His unique sonic tapestry is woven from a rich background growing up in Scotland in the 1980s, surrounded by a vibrant blend of musical genres and pop culture. While his mother and sister were classically trained pianists, Tyle first honed his skills as a guitarist in various rock and punk bands, before expanding his musical arsenal to include an encyclopaedic knowledge of Japanese City Pop and Rare Groove and bands as leftfield as The Cocteau Twins and Magnum.

Tyle cites 1980s science fiction films as a core thematic and sonic inspiration. "In those films, there's always a nightclub scene set in the not-too-distant futuristic dystopia," he explains. "I'm basically making the music playing in those scenes."

Listeners can expect Corserine's signature blend of dreamy pop textures, gritty electro, and muscular rhythms to please fans of artists like Tycho, Com Truise, and Neon Indian.

Driving with absolute creative freedom in everything from their name to their artwork to the very pulse of their sound – alternative electro funk rockers rockers Cheeseburger n Painkillers reignite the essence of indie with a series of uniquely reflective, fearlessly bold tracks.

Founded in Europe during the winter of 2021, CBPNK directly explores the state of our world as per the issues and injustices that arose throughout the pandemic, lock-down, and beyond. Their music delves into the uncertainty of our future, and the bizarre direction we all appear to be heading in.

An openly collaborative project, bringing together artists and friends from across the globe, CBNPK incorporates elements of electro, funk, reggae, soul, rock, and all that falls in between. From multi-layered vocals to retro keys, rhythms, bass, and production, their sound is immensely eclectic yet always holds close to a clear sense of identity.

Veraciously discussing climate and economic collapse as a very real prospect in the not-too-distant future, the band showcases the absurdity of personal gain in the face of societal disintegration. The aim is to lay bare the foolishness of now, with eccentric visuals and quirky yet purposeful music, and to simultaneously draw focus to the importance of love, compassion, and spirituality when moving forwards,

With such a clearly unique, creatively uninhibited sound, their music reaches out in a fresh way, inspiring for its bold yet beautiful implications, and utilizing sarcasm and humor to soften the blow. The intention is to ultimately connect with a broader audience, and naturally, bridge the gap between our superficial desires and our lasting humanity.

Undoubtedly an act marching to the beat of their own drum, with deeply human reflections on life intertwined with shock factor and an unapologetic degree of fun, CBNPK takes the reins with a combination of character and quickly infectious songwriting.
