The Impostors are Leo J and DJ Tyrone.

They started producing hardcore breakbeat and jungle in the early 1990s with an Amiga 500, a copy of OctaMED and an Akai S3000 sampler.

In the mid-1990s, the Impostors promoted their 'Philosophy' jungle/DnB events in Essex, with DJs such as Grooverider, Randall, Hype, Rap, Andy C, Zinc, Jumping Jack Frost, Fabio, and more.
