First, very impressive to have had your work applied to film! Very awesome! As to the piece, it starts deptively soft and wistful then turns quite sinister by the end - nicely done!

Last black friday I decided to extend my string libraries and bought CSS and CSSS. In order to really work my way into this libraries, get to know their strengths and weaknesses and to learn how to properly use it, I wrote this piece called "Sehnsucht" (German for "longing").
It took me quite a while to get the arrangement and sound right but here it is! :-D

After studying classical piano at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and graduating in Music and Musicology from Paris-Sorbonne, she turned to composition following her studies in film scoring and contemporary composition at the University of Leeds, UK.

A versatile composer, Cecilia Muylaert composes for concert, theater, cinema and multimedia. Her concert music has been performed in the United States, England, Scotland, Germany, Mexico and Brazil by various soloists and chamber music ensembles.

She draws inspiration from various musical genres, often mixing orchestral writing, inherited from her classical training, with contemporary electronic elements.
