Hi there! Thanks for visiting my Soundcloud page, I really hope you enjoy my music. First let me introduce myself: My name is Cees Nieuwenhuizen. I studied composition, piano and music theory  at The Royal Conservatory in The Hague (The Netherlands). There I studied piano with Else Krijgsman and composition with the Dutch composers Daan Manneke and Simeon ten Holt. After I graduated in 1982, I established myself as an independent composer and music teacher. The music you'll find on my page is all work of my own, except for the Los Paraguayos: these tracks are the result of a musicological project I am doing.
