I got so far outside of the box that I slowly came to the realization that the box was inside of another much larger box the entire time. It took me all year to find my way outside of the box that when I finally came to the realization that there will always be another box to think outside of it was far too late. There is a box outside of the box that is inside of a box full of boxes.

I'd like to thank my boyfriend for the help on this song, this is all HIS work!

It's got a Draconian feel to it combined with Avenged Sevenfold's "Waking The Fallen"
Record feel.

So Far..

Written and recorded in 20 minutes flat on Sunday, couldn't upload until today because my browser is crap. It's ugly, very ugly. But I like the chords, especially the dissonant ones; they're special-sounding.

It's an absolutely rough and filthy track. Inspired by feelings of desolation and apathy that went around last week, feelings I saw in my friends and within myself, probably caused by the full moon in Cancer (if you understand astrology to some extent you would know what this means). Cancer is an emotional sign for the moon to be in, and the moon itself is a portrayal of your emotions. It squared my natal moon in Libra, squared my natal Mercury in retrograde in Aries and opposed my Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn, effectively making a grand cross. Grand crosses are fun. Not. Shit kept me up all night around the peak of the moon's illumination.

It's strange to me. My main instrument is electric bass, seconded by piano/keyboard. And I write music all the time, but the only time I ever want to show a song to people is when I know it's not my best but because it's in light of recent events, if feels right to me to show it to others. Music written in the heat of a moment is insanely pure and sober and painfully beautiful to me, no matter how rough it sounds.
