Mictlán es un álbum conceptual a través de géneros e interpretaciones de 18 artistas sobre el inframundo según la mitología y cosmovisión prehispánica de los Aztecas.

Mictlán es el inframundo y parte del universo vertical, creado por la pareja de dioses soberanos de los muertos. Sus nueve niveles representan el viaje del Dios Tonatiuh todas las noches en las fauces de los señores de la Tierra. 

Tepeme Monamictlán es el segundo de los nueve niveles y residencia de Tepeyóllotl (dios de las montañas, los ecos y el jaguar). Esta es la región donde dos montañas chocan, produciendo ecos como señal a los muertos para cruzar al siguiente nivel.

Mictlán is a conceptual album through genres and interpretations of 18 artists about the underworld according to the mythology and pre-Hispanic worldview of the Aztecs.

Mictlán is the underworld and part of the vertical universe, created by the pair of sovereign gods of the dead. Its nine levels represent the journey of a god every night in the fauces of the lords of the Earth.

Tepeme Monamictlán is the second of the nine levels and residence of Tepeyóllotl (god of mountains, echoes and jaguar). This is the region where two mountains collide, producing echoes as a signal to the dead to cross to the next level.

The winter solstice marks a very special and spiritually important time of the year. Nature itself is asking us all to become more silent... to slow down... to rest. Animals go into hibernation and we as humans enjoy the sheltered comfort of our homes with a hot tea and a warm blanket.Winter is a time of darkness. The winter solstice marks the time where the days get shorter and the nights become longer. So there will be less light outside which in turn invites us to seek and find more light within. This time allows us to go deep within and to reflect upon the past and also connect with dreams and visions for the year to come. It's a great time for meditation and prayer to let go and relax. 

Tranquillitas was the goddess and personification of tranquility, security and peace. 
and can be translated into „calmness“ , peacefullness and a state of security and ease. 

To support you in this process of introspection and meditation we have invited old and new friends to share their unique approach on this idea. Weather you just want to sit and listen, meditate, do your yoga practice, need a soundtrack for your ceremony or are looking for some intimate and deep moments in your ectstatic dance sets this compilation will be at your service. Each track is soulfully composed and invites the listener to gently open the heart and to connect with the inner emotional landscapes to find guidance and wisdom within.

Todo absolutamente lo que a continuación van a escuchar, ha sido grabado con un teléfono iphone 4s, utilizando una app para crear múltiples canales y  finalmente hacer un mixdown; sin ensayo, sin correcciones, tan solo una zapada en algún momento, en algún lugar; guitarras, bajo, chelo, violín, charango, armónicas, flautas de todas partes del mundo, buzuky, cajón, saleros, percusiones ambientales: elementos de cocina, de taller o del baño, palmas, chasquidos, coros y voces sirven como elementos para dar forma, color y ritmo a esta serie de grabaciones que realizo constantemente.
A mis oyentes, desde ya mi sinceridad y mi gracia y sigan disfrutando del ritmo de la vida, de la vida musical!
