Celluloid is not a collaboration but a collision of visions - but one that has been slowed down before impact. That in essence, is the Celluloid sound - you know you're about to be torn apart but you can't help thinking how beautiful those shards of glass are before they strike.
They are one of those few bands who seem to have discovered that hallowed ground where accessible and experimental music co-exist. Eminently listenable, killer hooks and post-rock overtones are embedded into unsettling electronica soundscapes and at the heart of it all are deeply personal human songs full of pain and wonder.

Hello! We are The Vault Shout. We are three guys, who like to experiment with sound.We do some psychedelic and crazy stuff, that may interest you.

Our band was formed 14.10.10 in small basement,that we used to call “vault” because this place stores a valuable thing. There are good acoustics with amazing echo that makes sounds of guitar and voice mysterious and really psychedelic in that basement.
One evening we were doing what we can do best: I was singing, De was playing guitar and it sounded almost crazy. Roz has been hearing that mysterious sound from the basement and he decided to find out what the hell is going on. He went down the stairs and saw us doing this. After that he had inspired of our playing and offered us to do some crazy and psychedelic music and to record it at his home studio

So, here we are!

BIOGRAFIA

Gli Everyman nascono nel 2009 dalle ceneri di comuni esperienze musicali. Mauro, Donato, Simone e Donato provengono infatti da un percorso musicale condiviso per anni sui palchi della scena underground romana ed estera. Questo percorso ha trovato la propria sintesi negli Everyman, un progetto che ha l'intento di unire due correnti artistiche che animano l'attuale panorama musicale rock contemporaneo e che per certi versi risultano tra loro contrastanti. Il tentativo e' quello di far convivere il post rock nella sua complessa e trascinante orchestrazione nella melodiosa struttura di canzone brit. 

Il risultato e' IT MEANS TO BE DEAD, primo EP della band , autoprodotto e in uscita nell'estate del 2010 (soundcloud.com/everyman). L'uscita dell'EP è accompagnata da diverse esibizioni live in giro per l'italia, arrivando a condividere il palco con artisti del calibro di: 

BUD SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION, 
DENTE, 
CALIBRO 35, 
...A TOYS ORCHESTRA.

Il Brano "It Means to Be Dead" tratto dall'omonimo EP entra a far parte della compilation mensile di Rockit (Dicembre 2010) assieme a .. Dente, Beatrice Antolini, Everyman, Buzz Aldrin, Banjo or Freakout.
A Giugno 2011 gli Everyman arrivano alla finalissima allo Sziget Sound Fest Contest.

L'affiatamento del gruppo è forte al punto che nel corso degli anni di sono sviluppati diversi progetti paralleli come gli In a Sleeping Mood (www.myspace.com/inasleepingmood , il cui nuovo album "Nebula" è distribuito dalla Anomolo Records) e una tribute band dei Radiohead. Con quest'ultima hanno intrapreso un importante tour in Turchia nel marzo del 2009, con cinque date sold-out.

With a catchy, soothing sound and an imaginative and whimsical style, Vanchy drives listeners into poetic worlds with sounds that are hard to ignore and forget. He creates music that evolves and tells stories that are uplifting, deep and meaningful. In his words, "For me, music is not just a nice sounding beat. There must be a story, even if it doesn't have lyrics, and a tone and accent that set the drive and emphasis of the music. My goal is to create sounds that engage people in clear and conscious states. Consciousness, progressiveness and awareness are very important words for me and are always part of my music.”

His writing process always starts with an image and a story. In his words, "My music creative process is very visual. Without an image or personal experience, it is impossible for me to sculpt my sound vision. I could storyboard a film right now for all my songs and know exactly where each visual falls. I'm also a visual designer and photographer and my ideas always go along with my music. Just like water and air, it is hard for me to imagine the world without these two elements. My life is like a motion picture that always comes with a soundtrack." 


His music influence comes from diverse music styles: 

William Orbit, Ulrich Schnauss, Moderat, Röyksopp, Delerium, Massive Attack, John Digweed, Erik Satie, Claude Debussy, Stravinsky, Orbital, The Orb, Eat Static, Tangerine Dream, Talk-Talk, Depeche Mode, New Order, and too many others to mention. 

Vanchy is currently working on his upcoming EP, with plans to release it in September 2011.
