Starting with the dark Sonix, inspired by artists such as QZB and Kidsonic, this track grows into a deep minimal roller, with a boost of energy coming from a monstrous Reese bass later in the track.

Experience the clean, marching drum hits accompanied by the deep, fluid yet purposeful bassline, morphing between the beats between the energetic arps of the intro and breakdown sections.

Bringing more of the old skool flavours to the 20:20 Project, CELO takes the listener on a journey into the sounds that fascinated back in the mid 90's.

Classic wobbly bass and jungle inspired drums are what dominate this track, firing a long at an energetic pass between nostalgic inspired pads and synths in the intro and breakdown.

The third release of December, and helping to celebrate the end of his year long independent project, CELO goes back to where his 20:20 Project started, the dark side. 'Proxima' is dark, deep and filled with expansive FX and atmosphere, taking the listener down the rabbit hole of drum & bass greatly inspired by his heroes such as Ed Rush & Optical and Kemal + Rob Data. From 90’s raver to ‘late blooming’ D&B producer, CELO’s focus is on the deeper, minimal and liquid side of the drum & bass genre, with influences from artists such as Leftfield, Arkaik, The Prodigy, Break, Foo Fighters and the old skool sounds of early Jungle, hip hop and rock. 

CELO is a UK drum & bass artist now based in Denmark, with releases on Hyperactivity Music, Midnight Sun Recordings and many others. Having gained massive traction on Spotify, and DJ’d at various club nights such as Subhive and FEUM, CELO focuses on producing melodic, deep liquid drum & bass, with the odd track on the darker side of the spectrum.
