Setting the mood for the rest of the year, the first release of the new 20:20 concept hits hard, confirming to the listener why it's called 'The Drop'.

Part 2 of the 20:20 project increases the pace with this dancefloor weapon 'Night Watch'. A relentless assault on the mind and soul, this track starts with an almost soothing array of pads and melodic elements, with gentle additions of the marching baseline just before the explosive drop.

At the drop comes the relentless assault of solid sub bass and precision drums, building further with twisting reese bass and vocal stabs.

A mid section switch up in the drums eases the pace, showing CELO's versatility in his musical arrangements. But quickly, the energy is restored with an even more intense assault of bass and drums.

Moving into part 3 of the  20:20 project, CELO brings the dark and twisted 'Blackened', One of the darkest tracks in the project.

With eiree elements, deep dark pads, and dirty solid sub bass lines, 'Blackened' is a menacing array of sonic enrichment and unmistakable quality.

Part 8 of the 20:20 Project features two tracks, showcasing the old skool yet minimal vibes CELO loves, together with sounds recorded around the house. This release is entitled the Organix EP.

Track 1 is minimal and organic, constructed by many homemade sound CELO has from his surroundings. Inspired by the everyday, written for the minimal D&B lover.

Warm wobbling atmospheres and trance like arps are accompanied by boxes hit with drum sticks, and glasses hit with metal, progressing through a simple sonic spectrum of organic bass and straight firing drums.

Track 2 features classic sounds evident in many dance tracks from the 90's and 00's, taking huge inspiration from his idols Leftfield, The Prodigy and Ed Rush & Optical.

Part 9 of the 20:20 Project is all about the rave scene, where the release features a special bonus track exclusive to Bandcamp.

Paying tribute to the first rave CELO ever attended, 'Rollers' was the name of one of the legendary venues in the UK's rave capital at the end of the 90's, Milton Keynes.

Energetic bass, fast drums and classic rave sounds all feature in this months track, paying tribute to the classic rave era of the 90's.

CELO is a UK drum & bass artist now based in Denmark, with releases on Hyperactivity Music, Midnight Sun Recordings and many others.
