Born in the 80s, Independent guitarist and enfant terrible Myke Ross strives towards creating a new mixture of progressive pop, rock, soundtrack, electronic and ambient music.

Myke's debut album Roadtrip and his second album Believe are now available via Bandcamp. Right now he's working on his next album which will be released in 2017.

Myke's main influences are: Jimmy Hendrix, Daft Punk, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Eric Clapton, King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, Marty Friedman and Pink Floyd. He plays Ibanez.

Myke is currently unsigned and looking for collaborations on a professional level.

If I wrote stupid cowboy songs of leaving or going home, or melancholic songs of erectile malfunction, I’m sure they’d find it more acceptable.

Many of my songs are about important issues and the human condition. Others are just for your ears.

I am passionate about creating poems and writing songs :) I am keen on singing and exploring the interplay of words, sounds and music. Songwriting and me: The urge to write tends to come in phases, sometimes it lays dormant and then, after its absence suddenly springs back to life; when least expecting or when most in need. I like its intrinsic freedom and ambiguity, the fact that sometimes it can fail to be comprehended by the mind but can still be understood by the heart. It speaks to those who let it flow within. It is a wonderful companion for those who open their hearts to its secrets :)
