Let’s take a ride over to Montreal to hear it out on the wheelz of steel from selector & promotor, MOKA.

A second city to New York, theres no denying Montreal was at the forefront of the disco capital in the 70’s. This status signalled a multitude of scenes that were to come, 80’s HI-NRG, ala the darker shades of 90’s Dutch & British techno rave parties happening out of sight, in lofts or repurposed and unspectacular back rooms.

You could say COSMIC CAFE are ambassadors to Montreal's underground music scene, who have always wanted to bring a different listening and dancing experience to intimate audiences. Since 2005, Peruvian born MOKA and friends have had the wonderful opportunity to showcase exceptional djs and producers like Joe Claussel, Francois K, Seychelle, Scott Grooves, Invisible City, Jamal Moss, Dope Jams, you know, the ones that have given us some kind of spiritual awakening, or seen us through those life changing events.  

Mix 25 strikes a chord with us here at HQ as it’s reminiscent to our days spent partying up in Montreal on a bender. Moka has managed to create a vibe and atmosphere what reflects a time spent at a Cosmic Cafe party. Not so easy to express in words so hit play and feel it for yaself! Optimum jacking included.
