O DJ e pesquisador Pabels ganhou reconhecimento pelos seus mixes no canal americano La Tropical, ganhando um verdadeiro cult following e recebendo centenas de milhares de streams. House, Disco, Balearic, Afrobeat, Soul, Hip Hop e além fazem parte da pesquisa do DJ, que já tocou em clubs e festas tão reconhecidos como Output (NY),  Calvi On The Rocks (Corsica, FR), Pikes (Ibiza, ES), Le Bain (NYC), Bordeaux Open Air (FR), Claire Amsterdam (NL), entre vários outros.

Through his impressive skills as both a crate-digger and a DJ, @pabels (Buenos Aires, 24 years old) has already played at some of the most notable venues in Europe and the US including Output (NYC), Calvi On The Rocks (Corsica, FR), Pikes (Ibiza, ES), Le Bain (NYC), Bordeaux Open Air (FR), Claire Amsterdam (NL) and Corona Sunsets (Mamaia, Buenos Aires and Montevideo), and has shared the booth with renowned artists such as Late Nite Tuff Guy, David Vunk, DJ Assault, Philou Louzolo, Goldroom, Bon Entendeur and Sassy J, amongst others.
His 'Day Mixes' curated for La Tropicál (US) have garnered a cult following and have largely attributed to his growing success in the international scene; having received hundreds of thousands of plays on various platforms, including SoundCloud. Combining a unique mixture of genres and styles:
House, Disco, Balearic, Afrobeat, Soul and Hip Hop, Pabels has mastered the perfect soundtrack for the summer.

Trepanado is head honcho behind the multimodal brasilian powerhouse "Selvagem"; party series, record label and former DJ duo together with Millos Kaiser. The two have since parted ways and Augusto now runs everything by himself, putting out killer after killer. For 591mins., Trepanado stays true to his roots, starting on the jazzy, balnearico side of things, moving to the street soul brasil territory and taking a turn on the wild side towards the end (his own words). Nu Guinea came together over a love of studio jam sessions. The Berlin based Italians fuse live instrumentals and synthesisers that journey to far corners fo the musical world, from weird disco to exotica, world grooves via ethno rhythms. Their most adventurous work has come in the form of albums on their own NG Records as well as Early Sounds Recordings, one of which found them rewire original Tony Allen drum recordings with their own jazz-funk vibes.

In the mix for us this week they stir up a steamy summer session of boogie bass, township funk and squelchy synth goodness. It’s 90 minutes of storytelling music that speaks of a lifetime of digging deep into local sounds and scenes and stitching them all together with the sort of underlying grooves that transcend boundaries and bring people together under the sun.
